As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I believe that we are lead by living prophets, just as the Lord’s people in biblical times were lead by prophets such as Moses and Peter. Recently, our prophet, Gordon B. Hinckley passed away, and a new prophet, Thomas S. Monson, was sustained.
Throughout the scriptures, we read the unfortunate pattern that prophets are not accepted by most of their own people. This pattern has held true today, and unbelieving factions continue to say demeaning and disparaging things about our beloved prophets, and to publish this information online. The LDS Church has launched two new websites to help protect the integrity of these two prophets. The new websites are:

I encourage those of you with blogs to write entries with links to these new websites. If you have websites, links would be very helpful. The increased number of incoming links from other websites can help these websites to show up higher in search engine results for keywords such as “Thomas S Monson”, “Thomas Monson”, “Gordon B Hinckley” and “Gordon Hinckley”. As you link to these websites, please use those keywords in your links. This will help friends of other faiths who are looking for accurate information about these prophets to find more good information, and make the anti-Church information a little harder to find.
